but your're not.
thoreau you think laws are unjust...
but your screaming unjustice over the justice system. hmm...
thoreau, everybody pays the poll tax...
except for your selfish self.

thoreau you wrote "civil disobediance" so you could change the way people look at government...
but your changing yourself.
thoreau you think the government is a machine...
well no shit sherlock, the government has to be a machine, we are holding dumb asses like yourself in our borders, so we have to get money to keep you guys under control. without being a machine, our country would fall to pieces.

you just made a simple mistake...breaking the law.
yeah, people break laws all the time...
they are now in jail for life, have a revoked license, or waiting on death row.

Tell you the truth I don't really know how to respond to this blog, except by calling you a stone cold b****, just kidding. But really, you are really harsh and I thought that Thoreau had a lot of good points. Sure, on the outside he seems like the usually burnout, but he really wasn't. His transendentalist ideals really struck a chord with my personally philosophy. Furthermore, he didn't call the government a machine; he talked about how we are all machines for conforming to the government because we are letting this system control our lives, instead of having control of our own lives and opinions. This is at least my interpretation. Your not a b****...

ReplyDeletehaha this was PERFECT!!!!!!! i loved this, its true! i dont agree with what he was trying to say and yeah the government is a machine, one keeping you from getting robbed every night and keeping killers and creepers off the street. the only mistake the governemtn made is letting you out of jail... nice work karin
