the karin baby in the hansen house

this story shaped my weather morals:

my parents are super annoying during bad weather. as the old saying goes, children get giddy when bad weather is supposed to happen.  Well my parents tell us otherwise, and here i go:

it was a hot, muggy day in st. james wisconsin. my dad was twenty years of age. he absolutely hates dogs, so that's what makes this story kind of funny. he was driving his sisters home from school when one day tufts (their dog) started going balistic( i.e. running around in circles, peeing on the shag carpeting on the car floor, and drooling like a rabies infected rodent) and a gust of cold wind pushed my dad's car over. and all of the sudden he and his sisters look up from the dying dog and see a huge ass tornado, just about ready to destroy the town ahead. they whip a donut and speed back to the last town. there, they found refuge in a Happy Chef basement and stayed until the storm passed, dog shivering and peeing the whole time.

moral of the story: WATCH YOUR PETS DURING THE DAY, THEY KNOW WHEN BAD WEATHER IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN (:

scary. i know. so now everytime my family checks the weather report they tell the kids to watch the dog the whole day.

sorry happy chef i don't know you.
