1. S'MORE (some-more) (n.)
-Consists of the following:
1. Graham Crackers (Honey Maid)
2. Chocolate (Preference: Hershey's Milk Chocolate)
3. Marshmallows (Jet-Puffed)
- It comes from somewhere where they had some-more things then the rest of the town. (: haha just kidding. I'm guessing because of the deliciousness of the american delicacy, people are able to enjoy more than one. Thus, the S'MORE WAS BORN unto this lovely planet.
2. HOT DOG (hawt-dawg) (n.) (adj.)
-Consists of the following:
1. stuff we probably shouldnt know about (:
-INVENTED IN GERMANY! I have a weiner dog named max. And since Max looks like a hot dog, im guessing thats where they got the name from! They roast it over something warm. AND BOOM! you got your self a hot dog.
3. HAMBURGLER (ham-ber-ga-ler) (n.)
-GOOD OLD MCDONALDS is the inventor of the hamburgler. Don't let him catch your burger!
After my three word dictionary post, i hope that all of you are enlightened with a little splash of America. Even though there is only 3 words here...try and post more American words with definitions under this because it will be fun to see how many words our society has engraved into our brains. (:
with peace & love (:

No offense, but this was probably the weirdest and most random blog I have ever read. Kudos to you!
ReplyDeleteHaha I don't even know how to respond to this. It made me laugh out loud, but I'm not really sure how it relates to AP Comp. But hey, you defined three well-known words and we've been dealing with definition, so I guess that's how! It all makes sense now...
ReplyDeleteHaha. This was a funny blog post. It made me wonder about the origin of some other weird words. Like cantankerous. Where did that word come from? It's so random and weird.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I loved this post! It was very creative Karin! :) Always good to read something more light hearted, and learn something in the process :)

God Karin, this post is amazing! Haha, while random, this is by far the funniest blog post that I have ever read! Keep up the good work! :)
ReplyDeleteI loved this random post. I had never really thought about where the words s'more, hotdog, or hamburgler had come from, although I have heard what a hotdog consists of.
ReplyDeleteI wonder about words and where they came from a lot too. Nice definitions!
