Whenever i pick up a pencil, although i prefer pens, i believe that everything becomes your world. Your brain is opened to a new world that only you can explore the depths of. What i love about the way i write is that nobody in the world writes like me. I like to think that everything i write comes out of my brain & my thoughts are easily articulated to a paper or computer, but i find myself constantly writing on what my heart feels is right. Writing is my escape from the black-and-white world we live in. It's my opportunity to search for the gray area in the middle, the area where most writers don't like to explore. With that, i will now try and elucidate my writing style and the non-lackadaisical feelings i acquire when writing my masterpieces (more or less :) ).
When i pick up my writing utinsel, i always sit and think. Lots of times for a good ten, or twenty minutes, thinking about what i really would like to write about. Im a doodle fanatic and will also whimsically draw all around the words that i write. Words often flow through my head, and i must write them down, regardless if they are definitely wrong. My writing style is my own & i love that no one else is able to totally understand MY WRITING. The only person that could grasp into the relm of Karin's writing, is myself. Thats what makes writing so interesting. I love being able to write about nothing, but in the end it means something to me.
Splashed with a sprinkle here & there of humor, you will find yourselves wondering how someone could write about something like this for that long. But hey, that's me & thats definitely my writing style.

I loved what you said about the whole world being yours as you write. It's such an exhilarating thought. I also loved the part about how no one else completely understands your writing. I think that's really true. Writing is such a personal thing.
