what makes me, well, me!

As though this may seem like I am quite the procrastinator, you may find yourself realizing that I am the biggest perfectionist you may meet! So here it goes; my first real blog post.

Hey fellow classmates, I hope that I have had the chance to meet your lovely faces. Most of you probably know me as the energetic girl, but there are lots of things that you may not know about me. I was born in Racine, Wisconsin on Lake Michigan. When I was about six years old, my family decided to move to Mankato, Minnesota. It was alright for me, because I don't really remember it. After a year of apparent "hell" we moved to Litchfield, Minnesota where i spent the next 10 years of my life. Last summer we up and moved to here. BELIEVE ME, its not that bad after all (: As of right now i find myself sitting on my butt supposed to be hanging out with my friends, but ventured into the wonderful time consuming AP Comp work.

My personality is definitely what makes me who i am. Here are 18 RANDOM facts to help you get more acquainted!
1. i love when people say the word like. who cares if it is overused?
2. i have been playing soccer for 14 years of my life.
3. i love listening to music, and to be completely honest, i love almost every genre.
4. i am OCD when i wake up in the morning, and have to do the same things over, and over.
5. i am a perfectionist, and i love getting good grades, even if i dont:)
6. i am a hardcore democrat. go bama!
7. i love going on random trips that i didnt know about until that second.
8. when there is nothing else to do around the house on a saturday morning, i musically express myself.
9. for all you non-runners out there...i love to run and work out. there is not a feeling that is close to the feeling when you are finished.
10. i am close to being fluent in Norwegian.
11. i love my puppy, maxwell...but you can call him ween.
12. yes, i love shopping, tanning, pink, and texting..get over yourselves if you think its annoying.
13. the best things to do in the world is playing a round of golf really early in the morning, or late at night.
14. i love night games (hide-seek, kick the can, capture the flag, cops and robbers...etc.)
15. believe it or not, mexico actually changed me. IT IS absolutely amazing.
16. i absolutely hate to read, but if you get me started on a good one, i cant set it down.
17. speaking of books, my favorite book, to be completely honest, is ROOTS by alex haley. seems like just an old book...but it was amazing.
18. i love every season of the year to start out with, and then they all get really annoying, really fast.

As far as my future goes, ever since i was young i have dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. I plan to go to either St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota or to Luther College in Decorah, Iowa to pursue a major in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Biomolecular Studies & also to go pre-vet. If I go to St. Olaf, i probably will go to vet school at the University of Minnesota (#2 vet school in the nation), and if i choose luther then i will hope to attend the University of Iowa (#1 vet school in the nation).

I'm done now, after hours of annotating essays, typing blog novels, and reassuring myself that the carpel tunnel syndrome won't set in, i've decided to drop this mundane post, and hopefully you all will find yourselfs at the zenith of your blogging skills, while i, karin hansen am down here (:
